Liis' father is Hindrik and her mother is Mari. Her paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and Els; her maternal grandfather was Andres and her maternal grandmother is Mai. She had two brothers named Jaan and Hindrik. Liis and Hindrik are twins. She has two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jüri, Mihkel and Mai.
