WILLIAM DE MOSLAY

WILLIAM was born in 1338.

WILLIAM's father was THOMAS DE MOSLEY/MOSLEYE and his mother was UNKNOWN. His paternal grandparents were RICHARD DE MOSLEY/MOSLEYE and UNKNOWN. He had three brothers named THOMAS, RICHARD and ROBERT. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 59 in 1397.

General Notes
- This is the most likely William that our family line follows. Previous studies (see Burkes. Rolleston Trust) suggest the eldest son Thomas of Horbury lead to the Cawthorn line but offer no evidence to support. Instinct tells me that this is the chap they should be looking at. But I have only fragmented evidence open to several interpretations to support this at the moment. Will carry on searching.
