Aladár's father was Ferenc MaililngerVirághalmi and his mother was Berta Ilés.  His paternal grandparents were János Mailinger and Anna Ladics. He had a brother and a sister, named Tódor and Margit.  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother named Gyula.  He died at the age of 67 on March 16th, 1958 in Budapest VIII..¹
