Géza was born on April 28th, 1885 in Visk, Máramaros vm.1  Géza's father was Antal Körtvélyessy and his mother was Anna Steinkugler.  His paternal grandparents were József Körtvélyessy and Zsuzsanna Kertész; his maternal grandparents were Antal Steinkugler and <Unknown>. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Sándor, Mihály, Vilmos, Gyula, Imre, Teréz, Johanna, Gizella, Vilma, Paula and Mária.  He died from cancer at the age of 79 on September 11th, 1964 in Szatmárnémeti.  The funeral took place in Szatmárnémeti.  He was buried on September 15th, 1964 in Szatmárnémeti.2 3
