János Drobny

János was born on May 31st, 1776 in Jászberény and his baptism took place there on May 31st, 1776.¹²

János' father was Antal Drobny/Guóth and his mother was Julianna Papp. His paternal grandparents were György Drobny and Katalin Zilinsky. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Ignác, Gábor, Antal, István, Gábor, Sándor, Bibianna and Rozália. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named József, Károly, Anna, Teréz, Katalin and Jozefa. He died at the age of 72 in 1848.³
