Lídia's father was Mihály Asbóth and her mother was Katalin Csere.  Her paternal grandparents were Mihály Asbóth and Éva Ódor. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Mihály, István, József, István, Asbóth, Julianna and Lídia.  She died at the age of 1 in 1865.
