János Asbóth

János was born in October 1828 in Szany Sopron vm and his baptism took place there on October 10th, 1828.¹   János' father was János Asbóth and his mother was Erzsébet Gosztonyi.  His paternal grandparents were György Asbóth and Katalin Nagy. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Antal, József, Péter, Erzsébet and Anna.  He was the second oldest of the six children.
