István Asbóth

István was born in January 1783 in Szany Sopron vm and his baptism took place there on January 7th, 1783.¹   István's father was György Asbóth and his mother was Katalin Horváth.  His paternal grandparents were Pál Asbóth and Katalin Gasztonyi. He had three brothers and two sisters, named István, György, József, Erzsébet and Katalin.  He was the second youngest of the six children.
