Mária Körtvélyessy

Mária was born in May 1852 in Tolcsva and her baptism took place there on June 7th, 1852.¹   Mária's father was János Körtvélyesi and her mother was Mária  Janovszky.  Her paternal grandparents were Mihály Mátyás Körtvélyessy and Mária Valent. She had two brothers and a sister, named Ágoston, Mihály and Rozália.  She was the second oldest of the four children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Károly, János, Ádám and Rozália.  She died at the age of 51 on October 14th, 1903 in Kisvárda.²
