János Körtvélyessy

János was born on April 11th, 1839 in Zádorháza and his baptism took place in Rimaszécs.¹

János' father was István Körtvélyessy and his mother was Barbara Czakó.  His paternal grandparents were János Körtvélyesi and Anna Hentz. He had two brothers and three sisters, named István, Bálilnt, Angelika, Mária and Borbála.  He was the second oldest of the six children. He had two half-sisters named Anna and Julianna.  He died at the age of 25 on February 1st, 1865 in Losoncz.  He was buried on February 4th, 1865 in Apátfalva.^2 3
