János Körtvélyessy

János was born in October 1838 in Bodrogkeresztúr and his baptism took place there on October 22nd, 1838.¹   János' father was Ferenc Körtvélyessy and his mother was Julianna Suszterits. He had two brothers and a sister, named Gyula, Gáspár Menyhért Boldizsár and Alojzia.  He was the oldest of the four children.
