Gyula Körtvélyessy

Gyula was born on May 11th, 1886 in Zalkod Szabolcs vm and his baptism took place there on May 19th, 1886.^1 2

Gyula's father was Emánuel Körtvélyessy and his mother was Erzsébet Kerekes.  His paternal grandparents were Ferenc Körtvélyessy and Julianna Suszterits. He had six brothers and two sisters, named József, Ferenc, Gyula, János, István, István, Erzsébet and Ilona.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 79 on May 27th, 1965 in Passaic NJ.³
