Emánuel Körtvélyessy

Emánuel was born on December 30th, 1844 in Bodrogkeresztúr.¹   His godmother was Körtvélyessy Erzsébet.

Emánuel's father was Ferenc Körtvélyessy and his mother was Julianna Suszterits.  His paternal grandparents were János Körtvélyesi and Mária Raisz. He had four brothers and a sister, named János, Gyula, Gyula, Gáspár Menyhért Boldizsár and Alojzia.  He was the third oldest of the six children.
