Anna was born on May 20th, 1855 in Cselfalu and her christening took place on May 27th, 1855 in Komlós conducted by minister Czukor János.1   Her godfather was Körtvélyessy János and her godmother was Kükemezey Anna. Anna's father was Gábor Felsőásgúthi Körtvélyessy and her mother was Lenke Körtvélyessy.  Her paternal grandparents were István Ásguthi Körtvélyessy and Sarolta Ganczaugh; her maternal grandparents were János 1810-24 Körtvélyessy and Fanni Krisár. She had three brothers and a sister, named Béla, Gábor, Dezső and Aranka.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died due to a childhood disease, skarlát, at the age of 3 on May 21st, 1858 in Cselfalu.1
