János Körtvélyesi

János was born in September 1892 in Eger and his baptism took place there on September 25th, 1892.¹   János' father was József Martin Körtvélyesi and his mother was Erzsébet Bárczi.  His paternal grandparents were Menyhárt Körtvélyesi and Mária Kormos. He had a brother and two sisters, named János, Mária and Erzsébet.  He was the second oldest of the four children. He had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Körtvélyesi, József, István, Jenő, Sándor, Antal, Anna and Terézia.  He died at 1 months old on October 14th, 1892 in Eger.²
