János Körtvélyesi

János was born on December 11th, 1869 in Eger and his baptism took place there on November 11th, 1869.^1 2

János' father was Menyhárt Körtvélyesi and his mother was Mária Kormos.  His paternal grandparents were József Körtvélyesi and Rozália Nagy. He had four brothers and two sisters, named József, Menyhárt, Gábor, Antal, Mária and Rozália.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died due to natural causes or old age, végelgyengülés, at the age of 86 on February 16th, 1956 in Eger.¹
