István Körtvélyesi

István was born in April 1811 in Vál, Fehér vm and his baptism took place there on April 25th, 1811.¹   István's father was István Körtvélyesi and his mother was Katalin Balogh.  His paternal grandparents were György Körtvélyesi and Éva Pintér. He had three brothers and two sisters, named István, György, János, Katalin and Erzsébet.  He was the second youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 25 in 1836.
