József Nagy

József was born on March 10th, 1751 in Berény and his baptism took place on March 10th, 1751 in Sajtoskál Sopron vm.^1 2

József's father was Benedek Nagy and his mother was Erzsébet Márffy.  His paternal grandparents were Mihály Nagy and Judit Nádasdy. He had eight brothers named Pál, Ádám, Mátyás, Antal, István, Zsigmond, Ignác and Antal. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Lajos, Julianna, Mária and Anna.  He died at 11 months old on February 23rd, 1752 in Berény.  The funeral took place in Sajtoskál Sopron vm.³
