Malachy (Big Mac) Joseph O'Donnell 
Malachy, known as Big Mac, was born in 1892 in Gooroc, Victoria. Big Mac's father was Andrew O'Donnell and his mother was Bridget (Kate) Catherine Connelly. His paternal grandparents were Martin O'Donnell and Margaret Green; his maternal grandparents were John Roche Connelly and Elizabeth (Eliza) Greenfield. He had four brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Frank, Charles, JB, Joe, Dotty, Henrietta and Andrew. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 66 in 1958. He was buried on April 23rd, 1958 in Birchip, Victoria.1 Death Notes

General Notes
Big Mac owned Ballondowin. The homestead burnt down and he moved in with Joseph and Sylvia. The boys helped him on the property. He left Ballondowin to John Bernard in his will.
