Lourens Klaasz. was born in 1745 in Castricum.1   Lourens Klaasz.'s father was Klaasz Stuifbergen and his mother was Ariaantje Janse Siericke (Vaders).  His paternal grandparents were Lourens Claesz. Stuifbergen and Antje Jansd Haarlems. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Jan, Jacob, Dirk, Dirk, Cornelis, Aafje and Aafje.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 55 in 1800 in Castricum.1
