Maria was born in August 1861.  Maria's father was Ignatius Jan Siman and her mother was Maria Lifzina.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Andrew Siman and Anna Polomscan; her maternal grandparents are Joseph Lifzina and <Unknown>. She had three sisters named Anna, Christina and Rosalia.  She was the oldest of the four children. She had a half-brother named George.  She died at the age of 65 on February 28th, 1927.
