Jan was born on May 28th, 1772.  Jan's father was Mathew Siman and his mother is Dorothea Galik.  His paternal grandparents are Paul Siman and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and three sisters, named George, Joseph, Dorothea, Maria and Catherine.  He was the second oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Paul, Anna and Helena.  He died at the age of 71 on May 27th, 1844.
