Jan was born on April 27th, 1782.  Jan's father was Andrew Siman and his mother was Anna Ruscera.  His paternal grandparents are Paul Siman and <Unknown>. He had a brother and two sisters, named Andrew, Maria and Helena.  He was the second youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named George, Catherine, Dorothea and Susanna.
