Christina was born on January 17th, 1869.  Christina's father was George Siman and her mother was Maria Roshan.  Her paternal grandparents were George Siman and Helena Terek; her maternal grandparents are Andrew Roshan and Anna Kubanda. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Jan, Andrew, Karl, Joseph, Anna and Maria.  She was the second youngest of the seven children.
