Eleonora, known as Norica, was born in 1885 in Mizil and her christening was conducted by the priest.  Norica's father was Constantin Popovici and her mother was Pauna Popovici.  Her paternal grandparents were Dumitru Popovici and Smaranda Popovici; her maternal grandparents were Dumitru Manciulescu and Ana Manciulescu. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Stefan (Fanica), Costica, Nicolae (Niculaita), Ionel, Alexandrina, Maria (Marioara) and Tina.  She died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 86 in December 1971.  Her body was entombed in Mizil.
