Costica Popovici

Costica was born in 1874 and his christening was conducted by the priest.  Costica's father was Constantin Popovici and his mother was Pauna Popovici.  His paternal grandparents were Dumitru Popovici and Smaranda Popovici; his maternal grandparents were Dumitru Manciulescu and Ana Manciulescu. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Stefan (Fanica), Nicolae (Niculaita), Ionel, Alexandrina, Norica, Maria (Marioara) and Tina.  He died due to a medical problem at the age of 3 in 1877.

  A murit de angina, probabil in timpul razboiului din 1877. Am dedus aceasta din amintirile Alexandrinei Ioachimescu(nascuta Popovici) consemnate de fiica ei - Titi Cretu.
