Ana was born on September 25th, 1916 in Buzau and her christening took place there conducted by the priest.  Her godmother was Ana Constantinescu.  Ana's father was Bucur Constantinescu and her mother was Virginia Ionescu (Constantinescu).  Her paternal grandparents were Neculai Constantinescu and Ana Constantinescu; her maternal grandparents were Apostol  Ionescu and ? Ionescu. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Petrica, Nicu, Lenuta, Maria, Aurica and Milica.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  She died due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 88 on November 8th, 2004 in Bucuresti.  The funeral took place in August 2004 in Bucuresti.  Her body was entombed in Bucuresti.
