Ecaterina, known as Titi, was born in 1918 in Mizil and her christening took place there conducted by the priest.  Titi's father was Constantin (Costica) Alexandrescu and her mother was Eleonora (Norica) Popovici (Alexandrescu).  Her maternal grandparents were Constantin Popovici and Pauna Popovici. She had a brother named Atanase (Tasel).  She was the older of the two children.  She died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 81 in 1999.  Her body was entombed in Timisoara.
