Ana was born on September 25th, 1916 in Buzau and her christening took place there conducted by priest .  Her godmother was Ana Constantinescu.  Ana's father was Bucur Constantinescu and her mother was Virginia Ionescu (Constantinescu).  Her paternal grandparents were Neculai Constantinescu and Ana Constantinescu; her maternal grandparents were Apostol  Ionescu and ? Ionescu. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Petrica, Nicu, Lenuta, Maria, Aurica and Milica.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  She died due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 88 on November 8th, 2004 in Bucuresti.  The funeral took place in August 2004 in Bucuresti.  Her body was entombed in Bucuresti.
