Miguel Rafael was born on October 28th, 1886 in Guanape, Estado Anzoategui, Venezuela.  Miguel Rafael's father was Miguel Rafael Rojas Correa and his mother is Francisca Josefa De Armas.  His paternal grandfather was Jose Camilo Rojas Fuentes de Cristal and his paternal grandmother is Maria Lina Correa Aguilar; his maternal grandparents are Hipolito Urbina and Blasina De Armas Madurera. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Camilo Celestino, Vicente Maria, Luis Ricardo, Cruz Magin, Adrian Celestino, Rafael Angel, Carmen Ramona and Maria Graciosa. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Rafael, Antonio, Rafael Esteban, Luis Esteban, Rafael Celestino, Ines Maria, Blasina, Mercedes and Herminia.  He died at the age of 57 on October 11th, 1944 in Caracas.
