Ana Josefa was born in 1913.  Ana Josefa's father is Jose Gregorio Matute Arreaza and her mother is Ana Antonia De Armas Matute.  Her maternal grandparents were Vicente Maria De Armas Hernandez and Anacleta Matute Castillo. She had a sister named Ercilia.  She was the older of the two children.  She died at the age of 61 in 1974.
