Idalia Josefina was born on December 31st, 1951.  Idalia Josefina's father is Pedro Alejandro Delgado Perez and her mother is Carmen Barreto Mazzaloni.  Her paternal grandparents are Dolores Delgado and Ana Isidra Perez Delgado. She has nine sisters named Vestalia Del Valle, Migdalia del Carmen, Romelia Esperanza, Ismelia María, Amelia Yajaira, Carmen Morelia, Nery Celia, Otilia Zobeida and Noelia Ramona.  She is the oldest of the ten children.
