Juan Pedro was born on February 8th, 1795 in Altagracia de Orituco, Estado Guarico.  Juan Pedro's father is Joseph Diego Aragor Yriarte and his mother is Micaela Ramona Perez.  His paternal grandparents were Dionisio Aragor Ugalde y Arguiñene and Maria Ascencia Yriarte Esnao. He has three brothers and a sister, named Juan Pedro del Rosario, Sebastian Josef, Jose Tomas Eustaquio and Teresa Antonia de Jesus.  He is the fourth oldest of the five children.
