James was born on May 20th, 1913.  James' father was George McLeod Polson and his mother was Emily Alice Jarman.  His paternal grandparents were George McLeod Polson and Robertina Polson. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Nesslea, Frank, Thomas, June and Myra.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 29 on August 6th, 1942.
