Christopher was born in April 1930.  Christopher's father was William John Knott and his mother was Florence Knott (Ennis).  His paternal grandparents were John Knott and Florence Baker; his maternal grandparents were John Ennis and Granny Malloy. He had a brother and two sisters, named John, Kathleen and Dorothy.
