William  was born on March 1st, 1898.  William 's father was William Thomas Knight and his mother was Lydia Rhoda Maberley.  His maternal grandparents were Joseph Maberley and Ann Eliza Whitton. He had two sisters named Lydia and Amy.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 84 on September 3rd, 1982.
