Margaret Christine Carrick

Margaret was born on December 3rd, 1905. Margaret's father was Robert Carrick and her mother was Margaret Barbara Polson. Her maternal grandparents were George McLeod Polson and Robertina Polson. She had two brothers and two sisters, named James, John, Roberta and Jesse. She was the youngest of the five children.

- Married John Curtis who was a well known optician in Christchurch for many years. He owned a building in Hereford St., just two doors from Coloumbo St. Both of their sons were salesmen, starting their own companies; John selling farm equipment and Geoff fire appliances
