Paul Martin Ray was born on October 8th, 1942 in Cuyahoga Falls,OH.  Paul Martin Ray's father was Paul Martin Ray Sr. and his mother is Ruth E. Showalter.  His paternal grandparents were Roy Ray and Mary Goodall; his maternal grandparents were Walter Showalter and Margaret Bell Parrot.  He has two brothers and a sister, named Ronald, Larry and Penny.  He is the oldest of the four children.
