Carmen was born on June 30th, 1944.  Carmen's father is Francisco Maria Corona (Lopez) and her mother is Julia Garcia (Rodriguez).  She is the fourth of eleven children.  She has five brothers and five sisters, named Francisco Manuel, Porfirio Moises, Fidel , Francisco Javier, Jose Luis, Amanda Juana, Leonor, Gisela, Elena Rosa and Maria del Pilar Gudalupe.
