William and Ursula were married in a religious ceremony on November 15th, 1830.1  They had five sons and three daughters, named John, Thomas, James, William Francis, Jospeh, Elizabeth, Elizabeth and Margaret A.

Male William Newis
William was born in 1810 in Laverton, Kirkby Malzeard, Yorkshire, England.2   He died  due to Pneumonia at the age of 71 on February 27th, 1881 in Union Workhouse, Ripon.  His burial was on March 2nd, 1881.

Female Ursula Kitson
Ursula was born in 1809 in Aldborough, Boroughbridge, Yorkshire, England.  She died at the age of 58 in September 1867 in Ripon, Yorkshire, England.

Male Thomas Newis
Thomas was born in 1836 in Aldfield, Ripon, Yorkshire, England and his baptism took place on August 23rd, 1835.2

James was born on May 3rd, 1838 in Aldfield, Ripon, Yorkshire, England and his baptism took place on May 6th, 1838.3

Elizabeth was born on August 31st, 1840 in Aldfield, Ripon, Yorkshire, England.1
