Richard Thornton

Richard was born in 1838 in Morton, Bingley, Yorkshire, England.¹ Richard's father was Joseph Thornton and his mother was Agnes (Thornton). He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, James, Betty, Mary, Jane and Agnes. He was the youngest of the seven children.
