Jane Pettyt

Jane was born in January 1769 in Hazlewood, Yorkshire, England. Jane's father was Christopher Pettyt and her mother was Sarah Pickersgill. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Pettyt and Sarah Hodgson; her maternal grandfather is Thomas Pickersgill and her maternal grandmother was Jane Benson. She had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, John and Pegg. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 65 in 1834.
