John Petty

John was born in April 1702 in Ilkley, Yorkshire, England. John's father was John Pettyt and his mother was Margarete (Stead). His paternal grandfather was William Pettyt and his paternal grandmother is Alice Currer. He had three sisters named Esther (Easter), Hannah and Susan. He was the third oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 78 on April 17th, 1780 in Ilkley, Yorkshire, England.
