Herbert Petty

Herbert was born in 1865 in Sutton, Kildwick, Yorkshire, England.¹ Herbert's father was Anthony Petty and his mother was Martha Spencer. His paternal grandparents were Richard Petty and Joanna (Petty). He had three brothers and a sister, named Fred, Levi, Joseph and Margaret A. He was the third oldest of the five children.
