George Petty

George was born on February 28th, 1869 in Varney, Ontario, Canada.¹ George's father was Henry Petty and his mother was Esther Winnifred Reading. His paternal grandparents were David Petty and Ann Adamson. He had six brothers and three sisters, named David, Samuel, Robert Henry, James, Charles, William, Mary, Elizabeth Ann and Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 88 on April 14th, 1957.¹
