David Petty

David was born on June 26th, 1753 in Market Weighton, Yorkshire, England.¹ David's father was David Petty and his mother was Elizabeth Grainger. His paternal grandparents were David Petty and Jane Edwards. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John, William, Jane, Elizabeth, Ann, Mary and Ellen. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 60 on July 18th, 1813 in Shipton By Thorpe, Yorkshire, England.¹
