Margaret was born on July 22nd, 1910. Margaret's father was William Newiss and her mother was Ada Lonsdale.  Her paternal grandparents were Enoch Newiss and Mary Simpson.  She had two sisters named Edith and Alice.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Reginald Stewart, Walter, William, Kathleen and Doris.  She died at the age of 95 on April 29th, 2006 in Steeton Court Nursing Home.
