Jane Newiss

Jane was born in 1826 in Yorkshire, England. Jane's father was Robert Newis and her mother was Sara (Newhouse). Her paternal grandfather was Robert Newhouse. She had three brothers and a sister, named James, Joseph, Thomas and Ellen. She was the third oldest of the five children.
