Ernest Newiss

Ernest was born in March 1887 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England.¹ Ernest's father was Enoch Newiss and his mother was Mary Simpson. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Newiss and Ann Hartley. He had five brothers and a sister, named Thomas Henry, Charles Edward, Frank, William, Enoch and Esther Ann. He was the sixth oldest of the seven children.
