Elizabeth Newiss

Elizabeth was born in September 1852 in Clifford Cum Boston, Yorkshire, England. Elizabeth's father was Joseph Newiss and her mother was Ann Hartley. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Newis and Sara (Newhouse). She had six brothers and four sisters, named James, Enoch, Joseph, Edwin C, Charles, Frank, Sarah Elizabeth, Kate, Esther Ann and Ruth. She was the second oldest of the eleven children.
